Formatters, encoders, generators and testers, plus subnets, link speeds and uptime.

The largest shelf on the site, and the one that most rewards knowing its shape before you start looking. Everything here runs inside the tab: nothing you paste into a formatter, a decoder or a hash function is sent anywhere. That is the property that matters when the string in your clipboard is a production token you should not have copied in the first place.

Five shelves inside one

Format and inspect: the JSON, XML, HTML, CSV, Markdown and code formatters, the JSON validator, the diff and text-compare pair, and the regex tester. Encode and decode: Base64 both ways, URLs, HTML entities, Unicode escapes, JWTs, and the number bases — hex, binary and decimal in every direction. Generate: UUIDs, passwords, hashes, checksums, TOTP secrets, QR codes, barcodes, cron expressions and test card numbers.

Test the machine: typing speed, click speed, reaction time, the tone generator and the metronome, which read your input devices and report back without keeping anything. And the network arithmetic — subnet, latency, download time, uptime percentage and Wi-Fi signal in dBm — which had its own category until it turned out to be the same audience arriving from a different search. SEO output files are under SEO & web; the CSS generators are under Colour, next to the values you feed them.
