Why I built this

I got fed up with "free" QR-code generators. You sit out a countdown, click through a redirect, hand over an email address, and the code you finally get routes through somebody else’s tracking domain and stops working in a month. That is not free. You paid; you just paid with your attention and with whatever you typed in.

So I started building the tools I wanted to use myself. Make a QR code and download it on the spot. Compress or resize forty photos at once without uploading them anywhere — the files never leave the tab they are in. No countdown, no redirect, no account, nothing stored on a server. Ads cover the hosting bill, and that is the whole business model: one small banner below the tool, never above it.

There are a lot more on the way. Have fun with it — it is yours.

Your photos know where you live Every phone photograph carries the coordinates it was taken at, to about a metre. Whether that travels with the file depends entirely on how you send it. Local storage is not a backup A browser notepad keeps your text without an account, which is the point. It also loses it to a cleared cache, a private window, or seven days of not visiting on iOS.
