How to use the local business schema generator

1 Fill in the fields. Empty ones are left out rather than emitted blank.

2 Keep the script-tag wrapper on unless you are inserting the JSON somewhere that adds it.

3 Paste it into your page and check it with Google’s Rich Results Test before relying on it.

The opening hours format is the part that gets written wrong most often: it wants two-letter day abbreviations and 24-hour times, so "Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm" is not valid and will simply be ignored. Choosing a specific subtype rather than the generic LocalBusiness is worth doing where one fits — Restaurant, Store and the rest carry properties the generic type does not, and the more specific type gives a search engine more to work with. The single most important consistency rule for local businesses is that the name, address and phone here must match your Google Business Profile exactly, since mismatches undermine the entity matching that local results depend on.
