Weekday counter

Counts Monday to Friday between two dates, with a list of holidays you can exclude. Weekends are removed automatically; holidays are not, because they differ everywhere.

Public holidays are the reason a working-day count cannot be fully automatic. They vary by country, by region within a country, and by year for the moveable ones — Easter alone shifts across a five-week window, and several countries have holidays defined relative to it. Any tool claiming to know your holidays is either asking your location or guessing. Listing them explicitly is more work and gives an answer you can actually rely on. Note that a working-day count is inclusive of neither endpoint by default here: it counts the days between, which is what a delivery estimate or a notice period usually means.
