Google Ads preview
Rendered in your browser · nothing is uploaded
Shows a responsive search ad against its real limits: 30 characters per headline and 90 per description. Anything longer is rejected at upload rather than truncated.
How to use the google ads preview
The thing a preview cannot show you is the combination problem. A responsive search ad takes up to fifteen headlines and four descriptions, and Google assembles them into combinations at serve time — so every headline has to make sense on its own and beside any of the others. Writing them as a sequence produces nonsense when they are shuffled. Preview each one individually against the limit, then read a few of them in pairs. Thirty characters is short enough that an ampersand instead of "and" and numerals instead of spelled-out numbers are both worth doing.
