Most collections have a long tail that never gets played, because choosing under mild social pressure defaults to the safe familiar option every time. Randomising breaks that: it plays the games you bought rather than the games you always play. One practical adjustment — list the games twice if you want them twice as likely, which is a crude but effective way to weight for player count or how much time you have.
