Moves the leading consonant cluster to the end and adds "ay". A word starting with a vowel gets "way" instead. "hello" becomes "ellohay"; "apple" becomes "appleway".
How to use the pig latin translator
Two rules cover most of it and both are handled here. "qu" travels as a unit, so "queen" becomes "eenquay" rather than "ueenqay" — the q and u are treated as one consonant sound. And a leading "y" counts as a consonant while a "y" later in the word counts as a vowel, so "yellow" becomes "ellowyay" but "rhythm" keeps its y with the consonant cluster. Beyond that the game has no agreed standard: some people use "yay" rather than "way" for vowel-initial words, and there is no authority to settle it. Capitalisation is preserved on the first letter.
