Instagram mockup
Rendered in your browser · nothing is uploaded
Puts your image into a post frame with the handle and caption, so you can judge the whole thing rather than the picture on its own.
How to use the instagram mockup
Images look different in a feed than they do in an editor, and the difference is mostly scale and context. A photograph reviewed full-screen on a laptop reads completely differently at phone size surrounded by other posts, and detail that seemed like the subject disappears. The mockup is a quick way to catch that before posting. Worth remembering alongside it: Instagram re-compresses everything, so fine detail and subtle gradients degrade further than the preview shows, and uploading at exactly 1080 wide rather than larger gives the best result.
