Card shuffler
One outcome in 52
Drawn in your browser · nothing stored
A standard fifty-two card deck, shuffled and dealt. Cards are drawn without replacement, so a hand never contains the same card twice.
How to shuffle and deal
The shuffle is Fisher–Yates over your browser’s cryptographic generator, which makes all 52-factorial arrangements equally likely. That number — roughly 8 followed by 67 zeros — is large enough that any shuffle you produce here has, in all likelihood, never occurred before in the history of card playing. It is also worth knowing what a real riffle shuffle achieves by comparison: the standard result is that about seven riffles are needed before a physical deck is properly mixed, and the three or four most people do leaves a great deal of the previous order intact.
