Puts each letter in a circle — ⒽⒺⓁⓁⓄ — or a square, using the Enclosed Alphanumerics block. Fullwidth is included because it produces a similar spaced-out effect.
How to use the bubble text generator
Circled letters were encoded for lists, diagrams and Japanese typesetting rather than decoration, and the block has a quirk worth knowing: circled digits run from ① to ⑳, so a circled number above twenty falls back to plain digits. Squared letters are uppercase only. Fullwidth characters come from a different tradition entirely — they are the full-width Latin letters used in CJK typesetting, designed to occupy the same square cell as a Chinese character, which is why they produce that airy spaced out look.
Questions
The block only encodes ① to ⑳. Above that there is no circled character to use.
