Generates palettes drawn only from the warm arc of the wheel — reds, oranges and yellows, roughly hue 335 through 60.

How to use the warm palette generator

1 Press generate for a fresh set, and again until one lands.
2 Switch the format if you need RGB, HSL or OKLCH rather than hex.
3 Tap any swatch to copy it, or copy the whole set at once.

Warm and cool is a perceptual convention rather than a physical one, and it is worth knowing it is partly backwards: in physics, blue light is hotter than red. The association comes from fire and sunlight rather than from the spectrum. What it does reliably describe is how colours behave in a composition — warm colours appear to advance toward the viewer and cool ones to recede, which is why a warm accent on a cool background reads as closer and gets attention. A palette drawn entirely from one arc is harmonious by construction and can be monotonous, so it usually wants one cool note.
